Charitable Activities
Entanet actively supports charitable causes. In addition to Entagroup founder Jason Tsai’s own charitable foundation, known as the Tsai Lau-Chi Foundation (Reg. charity number 1069997), we also periodically support a number of local and national charities through fundraising activities. Recently these have included:
- Entanet and Enta Technologies to battle it out in charity boat race
- Entanet sponsors 100 year celebrations
- Christmas promises a close shave for Rod in the name of local charities
- Entagroup sponsors second trek along Great Wall of China
The Tsai Lau-Chi Charitable Foundation (Reg. charity no. 1069997)
In 1998, Jason Tsai established the Tsai Lau-Chi Charitable Foundation to support the integration of British and Chinese cultures and create a mutual understanding of their history, philosophy, arts and teachings. The charity is funded by Jason Tsai’s group of companies, Entagroup, and supports many organisations including The UK Telford Chinese School.
The UK Telford Chinese School opened in 1994 to provide students from a variety of backgrounds with an education in Chinese culture. The student population is made up of a diverse mix of cultures within which only 15% of students are actually Chinese. Classes include Mandarin Chinese, Tai Chi, Mulan Fan, Feng Shui, calligraphy, traditional and modern dance and music and much more. Students regularly perform at local theatres and events and the school operates a number of workshops within local schools and colleges.
