Entanet racks up further recognition

16th September 2010

Leading wholesale voice and data communications provider, Entanet, has received further recognition for its growth and achievements by being listed in the 2010 Tech Media Invest Top 100 and named as a finalist in the CRN Channel Awards.

The Tech Media Invest Top 100 lists the UK’s top technology and media companies and is published as a dedicated supplement by The Guardian in association with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Kemp Little and Europe Unlimited. This is the second consecutive year that Entanet has been listed within the Devices and Technology section. Entanet has previously been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing, privately-owned technology companies through listings in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 EMEA, and the Real Business Hot 100.

Entanet’s nomination for the CRN Channel Awards meanwhile, highlights the company’s achievements in developing its UK channel and its strong commitment to partners. This is the fifth consecutive year that the company has been named as a finalist in the Specialist Vendor of the Year category. It has won the award on two occasions so far.

Commenting on the announcements, Entanet’s Head of Marketing, Darren Farnden, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Entanet. Over recent years we’ve invested heavily in the expansion of our national next generation network and strived to remain at the forefront of the industry, becoming a pioneer of BT’s 21st Century Network. This forward-thinking approach continues to fuel our growth and has afforded us a unique market position, one that gives our channel partners a significant market advantage and enables them to stay ahead of the competition.”

These latest accolades follow hard on the heels of Entanet’s nomination as a finalist in the category of Internet Service Provider of the Year in the Comms National Awards. This year alone, the company has already received finalist nominations in the PCR Awards, Comms Business Awards and the ISPA Awards. Earlier in 2010, Entanet’s founder, Jason Tsai, was named Channel Entrepreneur of the Year in the annual Comms Business Awards in recognition of his 20-year commitment to the ICT channel.
