Current Vacancies
VoIP/SIP Engineer
You will be designing, configuring and installing IP telephony solutions over IP networks. The role will also involve the ongoing maintenance and support of systems after implementation, including providing 2nd line VOIP support to customers over the phone and by email. The right candidate will have experience of building and configuring Asterix PBX software, including writing dial plans and AGI programming. In addition, you must have in depth knowledge of SIP and a general understanding of networking issues affecting VOIP, VPN, VLAN and NAT traversal. Your flexible team based work ethic will be supplemented by excellent communication and time management skills.
Product Manager
You will be managing a set of voice and data connectivity products within Entanet’s portfolio. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements; and with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers. You will have 1-2 years of marketing/product management experience, with a good understanding of the technical aspects of the Internet and telecom products desirable.
PHP Web Developer
We are currently looking to recruit a number of experienced PHP Programmers / Developers to complement the existing development team at our Telford office. You will be responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining web based management interfaces to support the company’s range of telecom products and services. You will ideally have experience of object-oriented programming with PHP5 and proven knowledge of MySQL, HTML and JQuery plus an understanding of MVC frameworks.
Technical Support Operatives
Working within the established First Line Support Team, you will be giving help and technical support to Internet users and Resellers over the telephone and by e-mail. The right candidates will be technically competent Internet enthusiasts; with excellent communication skills supplemented by a good general understanding of all Microsoft based operating systems. This position operates with rotational shift patterns covering the hours of 8am – 10pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 5pm Saturday & Sunday (5 days - 38 ¼ hours per week).
Marketing Manager
This dynamic new position is to further enhance the company’s goal of increasing its market share within IT distribution. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will lead, motivate and organise the marketing team at our Telford office, providing effective and regular reporting against the marketing plan. Equally important, will be the organisation of all marketing activities including press and advertising campaigns, seminars/roadshows, and producing/implementing vendor marketing plans. The right candidate will possess highly developed computer skills, be creative and conceptual with their work, and be confident presenting at all levels. Commercially aware and with a passion to succeed through people, your management and organisation skills will be supplemented by knowledge of systems and practices to support the marketing process.
Marketing Executive
An enthusiastic marketing professional is required to conduct all marketing activities including sales and marketing campaigns, producing and implementing vendor marketing plans, writing press releases, researching markets, and exhibitions. Equally important, will be the updating of the company’s online system and presenting online systems and reward schemes to customers and suppliers. The right candidate will possess highly developed computer skills, be creative and conceptual with their work, be confident presenting at all levels, and have at least twelve month’s marketing experience.
Internal Sales Executive
You will be responsible for selling a wide range of branded PC products and systems and networking/communications equipment to new and existing customers over the telephone. Working as part of a well established sales team at our Telford office, you’ll be making outbound calls, as well as receiving inbound calls to manage existing clients and generate new business opportunities. Your proven track record will have ideally been gained in a similar targeted business to business telephone sales role. In addition, to a good basic remuneration this position has excellent commission opportunities and holds genuine prospects to accelerate your career.
