While for most organisations the Internet provides an ideal vehicle for sending and receiving voice and data, for some the notion of using a public access infrastructure is completely unacceptable. Entanet's Private Wide Area Network (PWAN) solutions address the concerns that your customers have over the security of confidential information that is sent between several regional offices or remote workers. Effectively, a PWAN provides the same functionality of a Local Area Network but across multiple geographic locations.
Our PWAN solutions enable you to present your customers with a cost effective alternative to investing in expensive routing equipment and can be established via ADSL, SDSL, ISDN, PSTN and higher bandwidth connections such as leased lines. Instead of creating a connection to the Internet, a PWAN connection is tunnelled through to a private network dedicated to the customer to create a secure Intranet.
