Entanet cleans up to support Earth Day
24 April 2018
Entanet, the leading channel-focused wholesale connectivity provider, has teamed up with Telford and Wrekin Council to go green by collecting rubbish around its Stafford Park HQ to mark Earth Day 2018 (22nd April).
The company organised the litter pick on Monday, 23rd April, with support from the council’s Community Participation team who supplied pickers, high visibility jackets and collection bags as part of its Street Champions environmental volunteer scheme.
A team of 27 volunteers from across the Company set out across Stafford Park and collected over 10 large bags of rubbish over two hours.
“Staff at Entanet are really passionate about the environment and giving something back to the community, which is why we wanted to organise this event to mark Earth Day,” said, Steven Wood, spokesperson for Entanet’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee.
“The day was a huge success and as well as hopefully making a really positive impact on the environment in our local area, it has also been a really good experience for our staff, including bringing together colleagues from different teams within the Company. We’re now looking to carry on doing litter picks regularly throughout the year.”
Entanet is one of the UK’s leading providers of wholesale voice and data connectivity services. The firm employs 116 people at its office on Stafford Park 6, in Telford.
