Provisioning Agent (L1)
Working in the Provisioning Team, the role of Provisioning Agent (L1) is to liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to efficiently process and deliver Entanet telecommunication customer solutions. The role includes proactively processing all orders ensuring all defined KPI’s and SLA’s are met and exceeded where possible. This will involve placing new orders, order amendments and service ceases with suppliers expediently. Recording all data accurately in our business systems to ensure billing and customer invoices are accurate. In addition, the agent will provide after sales service up to the point of delivery.
The successful candidate will have GCSE’s in Maths and English or equivalent, 12 months experience in a non-retail customer service role, well organised, calm under pressure and passionate about Customer Service excellence. Telecoms industry experience is desirable.
A vacancy has arisen for a Software Developer to complement the existing busy development team. You will be a key proponent within projects involving the Software Development Department and collaborate with the entire project team to ensure that projects are delivered successfully, within the Agile Framework, translating business requirements into solutions for internal and external customers.
You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement within the department by streamlining existing processes and bringing in new ideas. You will also be required to provide information to the Technical Direction team in order to assist and support the delivery and maintenance of platform investments.
Given the nature of the role the successful candidate will need to be a strong communicator, to be a team player with demonstrable drive, to have the aptitude to learn and the ability to manage a demanding workload. Experience in leading or assisting in Agile project delivery, knowledge of the telecommunications industry and user knowledge of JIRA and Confluence are an advantage but not essential.
Software Development Scrum Master
A vacancy has arisen for a Software Development Scrum Master reporting into the Software Development Programme Manager. The chosen candidate will be the guardian of projects, collaborating with the entire project team to ensure that projects are delivered successfully within the Scrum framework. You will work closely with the Product Owner to guarantee that the Development Solution Team provides the project solution required through successful execution of the Scrum ceremonies.
This role will involve leading sprint meetings, daily stand-ups and stakeholder meetings, facilitating technical workshops and training sessions, maintaining product literature and documentation within Confluence, empowering the Development Solution Team to deliver the required project solution and communicating progress to key stakeholders and external clients. The role will also identify and manage project risks, coordinate resources across the business, exercise change management and control the scope of the project, all to ensure that the correct project requirements are delivered on time and within budget.
The successful candidate will ideally be an Agile Practitioner and have Scrum Certification. Experience in leading or assisting in Scrum project delivery is essential. You will have a proven track record of delivering software projects and the ability to manage a demanding workload. You will be well organised, highly self-motivated with the ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly and present ideas clearly and concisely. Good analytical and problem solving abilities are also essential.
Technical Support Operative
Working in the Entanet Technical Support Team this role provides telephone and email support 24/7/365 including the logging of issues on the internal company systems. Collaboration with internal support teams to achieve efficient fault resolution. To provide continued support out of hours. Configure new accounts, administer server and domain names. Proactively contact the key customers to ensure high quality service is maintained. Keep up to date with the company’s service and product offering and suggesting improvements to working practices.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the telecoms sector and networking principles. Experience of dealing with internet services such as DSL, domain hosting, email and VoIP an advantage. You must have good telephone and written skills, be able to work calmly under pressure from customers and suppliers. You will be organised and passionate about delivering customer service excellence. Good MS Office skills are a requirement and knowledge of MAC OS would be advantageous.
2nd Line IT Support Engineer
Working as part of the Entanet Software Development and IT Department a vacancy has arisen for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer. The purpose of the role will be to provide support to Users for any tickets escalated from 1st Line Support. The 2nd Line Engineer will also implement infrastructure and support to projects when needed.
In addition to being capable of all 1st line tasks such as assembly, installation and deployment of PC’s and user hardware, troubleshooting and basic windows active directory the 2nd Line Engineer is also expected to provide 1st Line Engineers with support and escalation routes. Help maintain the ISO9001 processes and bring reported changes to the IT Manager. Undertake diagnosis of tickets, participate in the 24/7 on call rota, new starter deployment through to induction, ensure incidents and service requests are resolved or updated within the SLA’s.
Therefore the successful candidate will have knowledge of Windows Administration, Desktop Support, Office 2013, Firewalls and Antivirus Software. As well as excellent communication skills both verbal and written with high attention to detail and problem solving skills. 2 years’ experience working in a team environment delivering network or desktop support is essential.

A vacancy has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to complement the existing busy development team. The purpose of the role will be to create and build servers in an automated way which will include monitoring.
You will be involved in building, creating and maintaining virtual servers and have a strong background in Linux/Unix administration, managing configuration across all servers and working in conjunction with the IT Manager to understand security requirements.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of continuous integration concepts for automating testing and deployments, have knowledge of version control systems to aid collaboration, have experience of Infrastructure management of new and existing servers as well as an understanding of networking principles, a CCNA or equivalent is desirable as is any exposure to Openstack.
Knowledge of at least one orchestration tool (eg. Terraform) and at least one configuration management tool (eg. Puppet) would be an advantage. Experience of agile methodology and knowledge of the telecommunications industry is desirable but not essential.
Given the nature of the role, candidates will need to be proactive, highly motivated, have excellent attention to detail and can use their own initiative. They must also have strong organisational skills including effective prioritization and execution of tasks under pressure. Candidates must be customer-centric, have excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly. Excellent attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal communication skills is also key to the role.

NOC Engineer 24/7
Working as part of the Entanet Network Operations Centre (NOC) and reporting to the NOC Manager you will be required to install, maintain and troubleshoot Entanet Customer and Core Network equipment such as routers, switches, circuits, server and hosting systems, both physical and virtual, and other related technologies. You will also participate in a 24/7 shift pattern which alternates between day shifts and night shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern.
In this role you will be responsible for establishing the networking environment by carrying out system configuration and system installation while following and enforcing system standards. Participate in the design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment. Maximising network performance by monitoring and troubleshooting any problems, schedule any upgrades that are required and collaborate with other network specialists in VoIP, server and firewall technologies. Ensure all information needed for installation, maintenance and faults are all logged correctly and in a timely fashion onto the ticketing system. Ensure that all installations, maintenance and fault finding activities comply with good Health and Safety practices.
Provide excellent customer service to customers and ensure all documentation required to manage installations is completed accurately, clearly and in good time.
You must have a GCSE in English and Maths and at least 2 years’ experience of Cisco IOS routing and switching, IP routing protocols and server administration, particularly on UNIX / FreeBSD systems. You will require a high level of attention to detail and be able to work accurately under pressure.
Sales Operations Assistant
The opportunity has arisen to work within the Entanet Sales Team in a new position at a really exciting time for the Company's development. This role has been developed to support the growing sales team to properly manage reporting, data management and quality and process management. You will be reporting to the Sales Support Manager and be responsible for creating sales performance information, monitoring quality across the team, maintaining business process documentation and providing support to the sales management team when directed.
In this role you will ensure all opportunities are completed in line with business processes, conduct spot checks to ensure that they have been processed correctly, create training documentation and sales performance information. Maintain the performance information for individuals within the department and provide regular updates to the sales management team. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the process documentation in line with ISO9001 and managing all improvements.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and organisational skills. Will be capable of translating large amounts of data into structured outputs. Clear, confident and effective communication skills both written and via telephone. The ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure with a tenacious nature to resolve issues. Good word processor, email and data entry skills are important. Salesforce experience is desirable. Previous experience working in the connectivity/telecoms sector would also be an advantage.
Service Desk Agent
Working as part of Entanet’s 24/7/365 Entanet 1st line support team, this role involves providing technical assitance to clients in a professional and timely manner.
The role will include providing support for customers, including incident, problem management and service request fulfilment covering our entire product set. Communicating with 3rd parties including fault logging and Emergency Restoration Services (ERS). Collaborating with other Service Desk Teams and our NOC to achieve incident resolution. Providing support on a 24x7 rota basis. Diagnose customer problems as methodically and efficiently as possible. Understand and work as part of our major incident process. Ensure customer compliance with acceptable use policy via processing of abuse reports. Pro-actively monitor our network management system and undertake pro-active management to prevent incidents from occurring. Suggest improvements to management and team leaders in relation to working practices. Keep up to date with knowledge of the company's service portfolio. Liaise with other internal departments over customer queries/disputes. Keep abreast of new procedures and implement when necessary and any other tasks that may occur from day to day within the department.
The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with and working with customers, experience of Windows Operating systems, experience on a service desk or in a similar customer facing role. Experience of 24 x 7 cover would also be beneficial.
You must have good telephone and written skills, be able to work calmly under pressure from customers and suppliers. You will be organised and passionate about delivering customer service excellence. ITIL foundation qualification or higher would be beneficial but not essential as would a broad knowledge of technology / telecoms sector and competitor awareness.
